Traditional Native American Musical Instruments

We make the small water drum that the Haudenosaunee people use for social dances. We use either cherry or maple woods and hollow them out. Water is used to create a nice ringing sound when the skin is drawn tight over the top. We also make steer horn rattles and gourd rattles.
